Procedure in making my own greeting card.

First of all I have two Images, which is the baby and my own photo.

1^st I edit the photo of the baby

1. Place the image in and rotate the image.

2. Quick selection tool to select the outer part.

3. Then only I inverse the selection.

4. And I cut off the background of the baby.

5. Then I saved the selection into B1.

Now I will start to edit my own photo.

1. I lasso tool to select my face.

2. I have set the feather to 25px.

3. Then I copy the selected part and paste into the baby image.

4. I click on transform à scale to resize the photo.

Now I start to bring the two images together.(by loading the selections)

1. On my eyes part, I click one filter-à distort à Spherize .(edit the size of my eyes)

2. I adjust the brightness of my face using level.

3. I just dodge tool to lighten the eyebrow.

On the fingers side

1. I retake the photo of the baby and removed the background of the baby.

2. I flipped horizontally of the fingers images.

3. Then I click on command + option to duplicate more fingers.

4. I cut off the fingers from 5 to 1 using the polygonal lasso tool.

Finally I add on text.

1. I have changed the font for my happy birthday.

2. I also changed the color of the text.

3. Then I start shaping it using wrap text into arc type.

4. And I add on the cake and present on the art.

And the final greeting card is like this..

1. background - gradient

3. pictures – ceo – background eraser, magnetic lasso tool,

4. flip horizontal,

5. saturation being set into more to red in color.

6. The head of the CEO is being cropped using the lasso tool and the saturation is being set as well.

7. On the layer style – drop shadow , inner shadow and outer shadow are being set.

8. Occupations – all are being adjusted being black and white.

9. Fonts type and sized are being changed. And even the color.

10. The wording of be their boss is being imported from adobe illustrator.

11. The yellow color on the logo is played by the layers.

Hooray I have got the chance in learning retouching photos.

This is my first time retouching the photo.
I have seen other people doing it but not me.
I finally understand that retouching photos really need a lot of practices.
practice makes perfect.

tutorial 3 computer component

This was my first draft assignment.
At the beginning, I did wrongly with the assignment.
I thought we should create a human.
After I got to know that we should do a computer human face.
So...




I came out with this love computer face.
Each part of the component representing each part of our face.

1.Head Part(processor)-Processing every activity in our body.
2.Ear (ear phone) - Listening voices/sound.
3.Eye (webcam) - webcam is like our eyes getting images from outside.
4.Nose(Pendrive) - nose is to get input(air) just like pendrive.
5. Mouth(speaker) - mouth is used to speak just like speaker.
6.Neck (bus cable) - transmitting food/air into body and bus transfers data.
7.Hair (cables) - colorful cables are to indicate the modern life-style.

First time visiting photoshop

I have been wondering how to use photoshop. I always envy my friends who can use photoshop well. Finally, I am able to learn Photoshop. Hooray, I will be enjoying this class so much. There will be more interested pratical and theory coming up.. ^^
